Hm? Maybe i made mistake writing this in that way. I was thinking of adding R-73 to all user and to treat all 3 the same so if russian one will get stock R-73 other shoud get it as well.
They should, since they were capable of carrying them, its just that the upgrade package with the R73s never arrived.

Not sure about Bulgaria, but the for east Germany:
East Germany never got the R73s since the USSR collapsed, and also because most A models were upgraded and converted. Those which weren’t maybe got them but not widely.

The new fuse is kind of a requirement since it has to deal with faster speeds and either way has to be adapted for any new missile mod

If i remember correctly most 9.12 models carries only 2 x R-73, with 2xR-60M and 2xR-27. R-73 in that time was quite rare to see
But the mig29 with the ER is not, and the r73s are historical too. Also don’t base all your judgement off a youtubers saying. The MiG-29 also struggles as its flight model, as it is right now, not modelled correctly and suffers against what it faces like the F16s and F15s

Simply not true, the R60M was only used for training, and other non-combat scenarios. I’m not sure why use R-60Ms with R73’s when you could just use all R73s since the R60M had a lot of reliability issues, after all it was used on the MiG21s and 23s from the last generation

Maybe you mean before the R73s arrived in large quantities? Because even the Russian Mig29s used the r60 for a year or so until the R73s arrived
