Mig 23ML in 11.7 br

This is becoming far to common for the USSR tech tree, to be handheld with special loadouts… Mig-29 with R27-ERs, The R24s, The Yak-141 with any missiles… Must be nice to be completely spoon fed armament you couldn’t carry.

The good stuff can’t come fast enough. The next generation of Aim-120s aren’t fooled by low flying, it might force more users to climb and air battle finally. We are already seeing this with the current meta. Half the teams are now climbing and battling it out, and its kind of nice.

It’s really weird actually. The Soviets upgraded a bunch of MLs to MLA standard but never changed the name. Hence the MiG-23ML we have in game with R-24s

No SARH/ARH missile past the first few are affected by Multipathing. For example Skyflash’s Minimum altitude is from its prox fuse triggering from the ground that it is by multipathing. Multipathing in war thunder is there for balance and balance alone. Likelyhood is that Aim-120Cs will have the same 60m MP that every other missile has unless Gaijin reduces it further

The best thing this game could get, is to get rid of the silly multipathing for missiles that didn’t need to worry about it. Funny thing is the flight manual for the SU-27 and Mig-29SMT both say the R27-ERs only work about 3000ft, and when pointed up. Pointed down at the earth below 3000ft they go blind. So not all of them are immune to it.

We are seeing more and more air battles at top tier, the best thing that can happen is remove multi-path and get people fighting in the air again.

Aim-7C does say it has a minimum altitude of around 5 meters.

BVR is quite fun now yeah :D

wait till this bloke plays the F-4J UK. Where are my AIM-260s at?

it is balanced. you got radar missile and IRST, plus you fought 11.0 a lot which are bunch of fucking idiot with no radar missile and dogshit RWR. shut your mouth or quit the game you skill issue.

I know the MLD was rated to use R-73s but the ML shouldnt even have R24s
