it has no combat flaps. Only airbrake and landing/take-off
I mean using “landing” flaps to “stay” in the air if the fight gets to super low speeds, saved me a couple of times if there is no one to third party, obv best case to not be there, but if it happens you can survive on those
Also there is Mig 21 SPS-K at 9.3 with 4 r3rs, you can even take on flare pod (replaces gun) and chaff incoming r3r while launching your own

I play the Ariete 9.3 subsonic fighter jet from the 50’s with no flares, rockets, or any form of secondary weaponry, and do just fine even in uptiers because the only thing I have to really look out for is harriers, su-25’s and A10’s missile wise, otherwise all you have to do is like turn slightly and the missiles will miss you. Also almost every death is to guns at 9.3, 9.7, and I get in multiple gun fights per match.
Basicly, you can win evry dogfight. The engine is so powerfull, you can just make teh enemy stall and then run away.
