I’ve literally just been outran by a Milan since I was incapable of going over 1200km/h and then killed by a F-104 that pulled a high G turn but was still able to catch up to me.
Just put this thing down to 9.3, seriously. It performs worse than those two jets and yet has a worse loadout. Come on Gaijin.
Id rather be quiet next time. Its the one of the best if not the best planes at 9.3. If you dont like it go back to 3.0 props which is probably your highest non premium plane.
missile do not “dominate” anywhere until 10.7+ and if you are struggling against missile at 8.0 - 10.0 then that sound like massive skill issue. And no, 7.0 is not “peak” dogfighting jets era. Jets in that BR are pretty bad. Around 8.3 is where it gets good and fun.
I think you’re just utterly braindead and are arguing against because you have nothing else to say.
“Jets in that BR are pretty bad”. …so? Completely irrelevant lmao. They dogfight because they have no other option and it’s as close as it gets to a classic dogfight because missiles just aren’t there.
90% of people in Air RB at 9.7 seem to die to missiles, ESPECIALLY if you have no countermeasures (which the MiG 21S R13-300 doesn’t) so you calling it a skill issue just means you’re probably stupid as hell and have no worthy argument.
8.0-9.0 yes, 9.7-10.3 no. High G missile carriers begin to rule around that BR, but the Mig-21S is one of the few good planes that doesn’t have 15g+ missiles. the Mig-21S under no circumstances can go lower than 9.7 because of it’s above average missile loadout for a supersonic, and solid flight performance.
im referring to 90% of the missile you face at 8.3 - 10.0 which are normally 10g
as for the other high G ones, just remember which plane carries it and fight it accordingly, its not hard. So like i was saying to the other guy, skill issue on his end
