Down tiering a fighter with All-aspect A2A missles to 10.7 while the F104S which has only rear aspects at the same br. And the other fighters with only rear aspects. Good luck fighting a Mig 21 with R60M in a G91.YS since that thing feels like a truck atleast the G91.Y did when i was grinding italy
And having used it while the Su25 was 9.7 so every game was against them.
Hard enough getting close to anything with R60M without getting killed

I have it and I use it, and it STILL ignores flares. I have countless times where I launched a missile at a jet and it completely ignored its flares. Sometimes they dropped their entire flare load and it STILL hit.
Have you used the R60s recently? All of them, even the MK can be easily flared and I only ever die to them if I dont see them coming.
I just played F.58 few times but, they doesn’t ignore flares unless you launch within 1.0km.
now that’s just plain wrong
No it doesnt it is blatantly false
I wasn’t talking about maneuverability and neither was the person I was originally responding too. He said and I quote:
Stop moving the goalposts. If an aircraft has terrible maneuverability does this mean that F-104 or Yak-38 should go down to BR 1.0? No you have to take everything an aircraft has into consideration.
Depends on the rockets I suppose. Small short burn time rockets only ever work reliably in frontal aspects which tbf is enough most of the time.
They don’t but keep having a massive skill issue.

I DO take everything into consideration. The only reason gaijin put the mig21bis at 11.0 was because it has 2 EXTRA SLIGHTLY BETTER MISSILES and a SMALL increase in speed and maneuverability. The thing is a fast jet, but speed is meaningless when all the jets you fight can just dodge you or missile you from 15km away. The thing is 10.7 as it stands. It needs to be lower or gaijin needs to completely rework BRs.
Welp, my post just became half worthless, since now the swedish mig21 can finally grind its own shit since they decided to beam the endline extra RP cost. But my point on the BR change STILL stands.
Apparently you don’t because when comparing 9.7 jets to the BIS you thought the G.91 YS of all things could beat the BIS along with other 9.7 aircraft that would get absolutely murdered by the BIS. You didn’t take the BIS’s speed (for all planes) or R-60M into account (for some planes) among exaggerating some other planes abilities (ex AV-8C out dogfighting a Mig-21 is just wrong and the Hunter F. 58 missiles ignoring flares all the time when they are literally just Aim-9P).
It gets 6 R-60M compared to 4 regular R-60 on the SMT. The BIS gets a more aerodynamic fuselage and an improved engine. Its quite the upgrade. In fact I think its the SMT that is undertiered tbh, not the BIS being overtiered.
This is what everyone has been saying. As it stands the BIS can’t go down. Right now it needs to stay were it is.

How’s Mig21 the same BR as JA37?? :D
Gayjin, gayjin…you never change, do you?
Well for 100% certain you are wrong on this account since Hunter F.58 doesnt even have access to AIM-9Bs no matter how you might cope, so theres that :)
Inb4 “I obviously meant J sidewinders” yeah sure, because J sidewinders are upgraded Bs, right?
oh well, AIM-9X is just upgraded AIM-9B by your logic.
anyway.
I find it strange you somehow think that out of all planes, A FRIGGIN 9.7 F-104, would win against MiG-21bis in a dogfight. Plane it cant see naturally anyway, so I wonder where exactly did you experience this.
Moreso planes with portion of the thrust of the MiG-21bis, not to mention two of them dont even have proper flares to defend themselves against all aspect R-60MKs.

Mig-21Bis needs a funcional RWR and it’s ok, then.
Wouldn’t be fair at all fighting 9.7s at all and 10.0s more often.
The RWR is accurate to its IRL standard
end of line vehicles arent a thing anymore

It has the RWR it had in real life (The MiG-21’s RADAR and RWR were fairly rudimentary compared to contemporaries since they relied heavily on ground installations to direct their air defence fighters), but frankly, I’m questioning why you’d need it.
You have no useful RADAR missiles nor a useful RADAR. It’s not like with the earlier MiG-21s where you can slap some unsuspecting F-104 with an R-3R in a headon. There is no reason to ever pop up above treetop height in the Bis, and so there’s little reason to fear a RADAR missile coming in from a direction that you need to notch. All the RWR needs to do is warn you if you’re being locked so that you can duck back down to throw off any missiles, and it does that just fine.
No homie, you’re wrong as hell about almost everything you’ve said in this thread
