Yes I agree it is really something between 9.0 and 9.3. I was saying even after a headon they just turn as hard as they can trying to catch and shoot me lol.
And what I meant is the 9.3 mig 21’s have a suprisingly high top speed thats why I liked them. You just play hit and run to avoid the acceleration issue. I think the ussr one is slightly faster than the chinese one too.
yeah but the guns with low velocity and very few tracer its basically like a support fighter its the only other mach 2 fighter at 9.3 that can catch the F104 but unlikely to due to engine the MIG-19 catches the f104 more often in my opinion
Exactly, USSR around that rating is just harder than other stuff because of the crap armament but I don’t think the planes are so bad they should go down because of it. If you have the attacker line go for the su17m2, definitely a sleeper pick thats quite good cause you get to r60 no flare vehicles when having matches at your tier and below.
I’d recommend to just use the mig-15bis to research as much as you can in that rank instead it has insane engine performance.

Need to focus on decompressing some brs and not over looking some unplayed tech tree aircraft. Look deeper into stats eg J35xs when it could face F4S and F14s and F4C when it was 10.7 ffs.
The issue with the Mig21 F21 and other 9.3s is being uptiered more often than not. At tier they are competitive but slightly above the missiles get stronger and then foes with flares aswell.

It is NOT because they are overtiered.
1- 9.3BR is compressed as hell
2- Those American Supersonics, such as F-100D or F-104, are undertiered instead.
They shouldn’t be the same BR as MiG-21F-23 or J-7II, but they also cannot be the current 9.7BR.
Anything that doesn’t have ns23/37 with their terrible ballistics. It’s night and day trying to shoot those vs brain off 6x12.7 on the f86

I mainly implied the Korean War stuff and I wasn’t saying ithwyre bad performing planes they’re just a little tricky for a new 9.3 player using the 60 ammo f-13 or the slightly weird performance of the 19pt compared to someone just unlocking f104 and simply doing hit and run with the best gun in the game
The absolute worst thing we can do in this situation is move vehicles down.

The game needs decompression in general. Balance is trash,
Specific vehicles don’t need handholding and i don’t care if they are good or bad. The game needs fixing instead.

only diff between F100A and D now is the D has flaps used to not have aim-9Es
