MIG-15 bis BR issue

I thought this one replaced the 23’s for 37, or am I thinking of some other weird Russian MiG/MiG prototype?

zero mig-15s have anything but 2x23 and 1x37, you should not speak with confidence unless you’re sure. The only aircraft in game with 3x37 is the La-200 to my knowledge

I was thinking of the MiG-9, which is still wrong, it has 57mm and two 23’s, but the firepower of this thing is unmatched by everything at the BR. Even at 9.7.

my brother in christ the MiG-9 ALSO has 2x23 and 1x37 and not a single mig-9 deviates from that

and no god no why are you bringing up guns at 9.7 and acting like thats good firepower? the MiG doesn’t even have the best firepower at 8.7 even referring to just guns

Well, from my experience in game around this BR. The only time I die in a dogfight is against a MiG-9 to 19. Their guns hit really really hard.

so do missiles you won’t see or the much better gun setups like adens/defas/nr-30s/etc

Playing AIM-9B’s isn’t a challenge, the ADENs have such a low cyclic rate they are a joke, but when they hit they do good damage. I have no experience with other guns.

You’re not talking about sim are you

I’m a general sense, I’m talking all modes, except arcade.

Ok but look at what this thread is about, and none of your comments apply to sim. Example:

It isn’t, I’ve played sim at this BR, and can confirm, playing against AIM-9’s serve no issue. This range is more about bombing and dogfighting, just don’t let someone get on your tail in the first place and you won’t ever have an issue anyway. Just like the tip in game says… A bad pilot can’t even handle a steering wheel.

Yeah just remove all context and nuance to avoiding sidewinders and reduce it to “bad pilot”

It truely is, just look for smoke in the air, and pull a tight spiral and bleed enough speed to get the caged 10G missile off your tail, slow you down, get on their tail, and fire. Sticking to the deck is the best thing for simulator, people can only see you if they look very closely, and you can see everything in the air above you. So yes, it is truly just chocked up to being a bad pilot.

If you play on keyboard, hold you right yaw, right roll, and hold you Pg Dwn key. On a stick, twist right, roll right, and pull back. If you’re too cheap to buy a stick, here’s the most commonly available one for about 30-40 bucks, you can get lucky and go to a Best Buy and buy a open box or damaged box one for 20-30. I regularly use this thing for Sim games when I’m in the mood, and haven’t had any issues, and makes gameplay extremely smooth. TBH, makes most helicopters handle like an absolute dream, and planes too, just remember to use damping SAS in reg flight. Now, I usually don’t play this range, but I have before, and never had an issue, I’m usually running bombing sorties with the AJ37, but pull the J32B out sometimes.

Idk what to say, it just works!

This plane is not for everyone as stated before. It’s very strong if you put in hours to learn it
