MB-326K VS R2Y2, There is no reason R2Y2 can keep 8.0

I won’t comment on the MB-326K, but the R2Y2 is very average at tier 8.0. This plane is excruciatingly slow compared to other tier 8.0 planes, with poor turning and climb rates. The only positive is the 4 x 30mm cannons, but they shoot like shotguns (at least unless you upgrade them), and many planes in this class have M2/M3 machine guns or 20mm cannons, which have a narrower dispersion. A tier 8.0 for the R2Y2 is overkill; it should be lower or become a attack plane with respawn in the air.

As for the MB-326K, I’m glad the Italians got their toys. Even if it’s too low, let the Italians play with it.

Why? They aren’t balance breaking vehicles they fit nicely into the game and are kind of cool they are if anything a great example of how prototype or paper vehicles should be added which is with realistic performance and not just whatever the hell a napkin from Ihop has vaguely written on it.

Unfortunately, many Italian planes have had their BR increased just because players complained about their performance. This means we’re left with over-tiered planes, which penalizes new players who want to start the Italian TT. There are planes from other nations (USA, Germany, and the USSR) that, despite their good performance, don’t see any changes; in fact, some have their BR lowered. The biggest problem is that some planes aren’t able to handle an Uptier game, which is the norm (I personally play 80% of my games in Uptier). If you move the MB-326K to 8.0, it won’t be able to handle 8.7/9.0 in eight out of ten games. It would therefore become useless, and this will be yet another reason why almost no one plays the Italian TT anymore.

Thats not really true

The turn rate with the gunpods is 25-26 degrees/s
With clean wing, its 30-31 degrees/s, thats around a 16% reduction in maneuvering flight performance, a slight impact would be a 3-5% reduction, not a 15+%, that is a difference in turn rate bigger than between the Hunter and the HF-24 which is around 8% of difference

Also another point in the comparison with the Keiun, the flaps of the MB326 arent really too useful ripping its takeoff flaps(doesnt have combat flaps) at 331kmh compared to the Keiun ripping its landing flaps at 320kmh and combat ones at 500kmh

Why move MB326K to 8.0? I why not just move R2Y2 to 7.3? I know some Italian vehicles are suffering due to Gaijin’s damn statistics, but moving 8.0 or even 7.7 doesn’t make sense. I just want to figure that it’s time to let R2Y2 go back to 7.3 cause we have seen that a similar vehicle at 7.0 doesn’t OP as Gaijin imagines, that’s it

Except for the flaps, I do believe MB-326K is generally better than R2Y2. MB-326K VS R2Y2, There is no reason R2Y2 can keep 8.0 - #3 by Chocolate_Pasta

If you’re good enough at it you can jiggle the flaps on and off from 570 kph downwards as that is where the destruction limit for the non existent combat flaps is. But easy to mess up on this plane.

i seriously doubt you experience 80% Full uptiers, i actually keep track of some planes and the highest rate was 59% 10.3 matches out of 117 total on the Su7BKL, when it was 9.3
Close second was Mirage IIIS with 56% full 11.3 uptiers but only recorded 46 games on that plane.

If it wasn’t true I wouldn’t have written it, in fact in some games I happened to be the only one (of my team) with the lowest BR plane.

The price to pay as the best country… smh.

It reminds me of another joke for Italy, the Italian Sabre BR change

For the R2Y2, I do believe Smigol has gave a fair review, “a better ME262”

Its literally not fictional

R2Y2s are.

The second two are

Two of those are completely fictional.

That’s what I said

Meanwhile, in simulator battles, Gaijin knows how to make a balance for R2Y2

Because moving ~12 8.0s to 7.3 is sillier than moving 1 7.0 to 7.7 - 8.0.
MB326 doesn’t have combat flaps either.

9.3 should be decompressed instead of moving that compression to the 7 range.

Using old stat data to measure a vehicle is the most silly thing; we know what happened on R2Y2. And also, it has great value for GRB

MB-326 doesn’t even need combat flats, which is same as YAKs or Spitfires

for only a small range, BR extends almost equally to suicide, which will only some vehicles suffering, unless we prepare to let 9.3-14.3 extend all
