Not sure where to put this but i made a post a while back about the same thing and got told i made it up so i have screenshots this time showing that im still fighting 8.0 and up jets with 5.7 and lower planes when the highest plane i have in my lineup is 6.7 and not in a squad with anybody other than the 1 the game puts me in, so shouldnt the max br i face be 7.7 not 8.0-8.3

In arcade battles there are a few ways to decrease the br of a lineup to lower than that of the vehicles in the lineup
So his 8.0 is actually becoming a 7.7 which can fight you with a 6.7 in your lineup
Would putting a 1.0br and 4.0br with it lower it? bc thats all he had except he just used the vixen to spawn camp with ir missiles the whole game😐😭
Yes that is basically what you do - I think it works if you have 1 aircraft at high BR, then the rest at least 1 BR lower - you need at least 1 lower BR a/c or it doesn’t work.
Try it yourself in a lineup - it works at all BR’s so you can do it with a 6.7 aircraft and then 1 more more lower BR ones and see what your lineup BR is.
the lineup you show (F7F, F8F-iB and P-51H) has 6.7, 6.3 and 6.0 respectively, so you are not getting a lowered BR - you might as well make everything 6.7 if you can.
