Look at tier 4 and up matchmaking for air battles, absolutely no reason for a 5.0br bomber to fight jets to just then get hit by a aim missle

I was in a b24(5.0br) and a f9f(8.3br) killed me with a aim missle
There was so a p26 in that match so something definitely needs to be done about matchmaking, air rb btw

Were you in a squad with a friend?
This is explainable-I’ve been in plenty of matches where there’s been a guy in a swordfish or a p26 (going up all the way to 11.7). But you, as a 5.7 bomber shouldn’t be fighting an 8.3 fighter. Only way that explains this without saying the game is broken is that you were in a squad with a friend who was playing a higher br vehicle
Matchmaking has been broken for a very long time, once Gaijin started to fill the tech tress with everything and anything in the quest for the Guinness World Record for the most stuff in a tech tree it went to shit.
A lot of things in the tech trees are pretty much useless and in order to try and balance them in a very very narrow game play it has become an utter mess that just gets worse with the more they add.
Some vehicles, planes, boats or ships had very specific roles in a complicated combined arms environment in a total war scenario, but in game they have to fit into the face to face shoot to kill game-play and it just fails miserably.
You made up this scenario.
You cannot face 8.3 if your max BR is 5.0 (and you are not in a squad with someone on much higer BR).
