I’ll add to this topic here but a different angle than the one-premium runners.
I tend to go for a daily task and if the map for example for air AB isn’t letting me do the task, I just leave and watch yt while the penalty or go to a different tech tree - rinse and repeat.

I also have moments when apart from grinding I want to have fun with specific vehicle type, and this usually means playing a map that it’s matching this vehicle type - and guess what, it usually means running the matchmaker multiple times before I get on something worth playing for me, so I yolo forward until they kill me in that specific vehicle, so I can replay this.

I feel like the penalty is meaningless, but more importantly the fact that matchmaker decides what map I’ll play, it’s not cool and like/dislike doesn’t do much.

If your in a tank designed for killing and all you did was scout, repaira and get killed then your in the wrong tank. There are flaws with K/D if you pull a statshamer on stuff they just turn round and say i not played that for years

Which won’t do jackshit. People will ODL regardless. A way will be found, otherwise they will uninstall, taking their wallet with them.

Gaijin may blow harder than a thai prost in Nam’ 67 when it comes to actually making the game balanced, but they bust ass when it comes to extracting and securing their revenue.
Which means that no matter how much you or any other anti-ODL people scream. It means jackshit to Gaijin.

You tend to very flagrantly forget that what the crux of this issue was primarily about ODL premium vehicle users at high/top tier.

By the way, those vehicles have gone from $60 to $70 a pop. Gaijin most likely makes about 5 figures a month per average, I imagine.

So, unless you and the rest of the anti-ODL crowd starting funding Gaijin directly 4-5 figures a month, it’d be best if you keep your garbage-tier " solutions " to yourselves.

I don’t feel that’s accurate to be honest, as that wasn’t said about what teir or BR it even occurs in, the issue I see that is shared is the PLAYER… and thier CHOICE.

  1. I don’t give a shit how played out you think it is and neither does Gaijin. The fact alone we recently got even more top tier vehicles prove that money speaks louder than you, my own or anyone else’s inconvenience.

  2. It is accurate. You can even go back to the old forum and refresh your memory.

  3. Oh yeah, Gaijin makes a fair killing off those things. We all know this. So why would they prohibit ODL? Means they can’t make money. See #1 for a refresh.

  4. I’m not confident any of them are any better, but since this is the thread for it feel free to share with the class so it can be critiqued thoroughly.

It’s because they have minimal impact on the game. Just because you killed a crew member on a tank doesn’t mean he didn’t go on and kill 4 of your teammates before being finished off…If you want to hang your hat on assists then it shows how inefficient and ineffective you are in a tank.

Capture points are easy points but also low impact, very very few games are decided down to ticket bleed from caps and usually in those cases there are only a handful of survivors on either side.

I deliberately not cap so I can ambush enemy tanks thinking a cap is empty or clear.

If captures and assists were so great then maybe you would win more than 45% of your matches in your M18…

Tbh 80% of the games there is no point of spawning more than 1 vehicle past like 10.0 BR unless its CAS. Most of my games in my full ground german 10.3 lineup (i have premium leo2, regular leo, puma, gepard 1a2, vilkas and some dumb bomb truck) look like this: I spawn, i get like 3-4 kills, I die and then im dying 4 times to CAS on a respawn (i literally had like 1 game when i drove more than 10 meters in vilkas), and for those who say that you can just spawn SPAA, well, you cant because you can even get missile lock on stuff like A6E trams that just lob guided bombs from outer space. The game is broken, and at this point im not even mad at people that leave after 1 death, because its not thier fault that game encurage them to do so. Btw. its funny when you spawn puma, your entire screen is instantly full of laser wearnings, and then 4 guided bombs with like 3 sec delay just land on you.

The ODL issue is a problem because it’s affecting others matches, and they don’t know what the outcome will be so the assumption they are making off the outset and thier initial performance ‘’‘enjoyment’‘’ is interpretational and a guess at best.

The way that you’re trying to paint out profit impacts upon any effort to counter this is actually rather dismissive to the points raised in these threads, as that method commonly entails.

I’ve mentioned this a lot elsewhere… Winrates come down to your team and the play more than your sole ‘worth’.

In your case yes because most of your tanks have such a low K:D that your wins are coming from being HARD carried by your teammates. As I said, every time you die and not get a kill you create a debt for your teammates to pay back…

Generally speaking your the higher the K:D the higher the win rate…

Your own statistics show this.

Looking at your M18 as an example.

The enemy took 129,800 points from your team due to your losses while you only took 37,500 from the enemy, meaning your team essentially had to make up the rest of the 92,000 points you lost.

It’s nothing at all to do with my stats, at all, and the angle that you’ve taken, at such haste to dismiss the actual point and the concern in this thread, is absolutely a problem.

This is where a problem lies in this forum, ESPECIALLY with you advocating the usage of the ignore function to avoid the points you don’t like.

The insinuation that nothing will be done about anything because it hurts the bottom line, because ‘gaijin’ is actually a negative against the company, and even a gatekeep against discussion and actually proposing solutions, and that should actually be a thing thrown from the forums, same as the needless and dismissive statchecking/statshaming that has been also going on in this thread.

It actually does a disservice to the forums in the first place, and it makes discussion hampered.

Every match that records a statistic to your profile has kill-loss tickets.

You can play the game however you want and in a way you find fun, but it doesn’t change the fact based on empirical data to include your own statistical data, that you are in general a detriment to your team. This will remain so until you finally understand how the game works.
