Making the base respawn time longer some time ago has been by far the worst decision gaijin has made

Not only has it made top tier super toxic, but also for some aircraft, quite literally unplayable, I know its been a while since this neft was added but I don’t think anyone would complain if they changed it to what it was, or add a two stage, one for the fast fighters with napalm, and one for the slower strike aircraft, this would make strike aircraft more usefull while keeping everyone happy.

Its miserable using anything that doesnt go mach 1.25 on deck with napalm since otherwise you are just not going to get a base, and what ends up happening is that very capable fighters like the MiG-23ML trade 4 IR missiles for 2 napalm just to get a base and end up being useless the rest of the game

Another thing they could do is add type specific reward multipliers, like yeah if you’re a fighter you can bomb a base but itl give you 1/3 of the reward it did, but if you get an A-A kill you get 1.5 times as much, and for the strike aircraft you get 1.5 times the reward for base/ground units but get less rewards for kills, it needs some polishing but this promotes teamwork and prevents braindead premium players from base rushing and taking the bases away from slower and actual dedicated bombers

This has always been an issue. They sell premium planes that can outrun the attack/bomber aircraft to maximize the RP pay out. Part of the problem is the excessive grinding that needs to take place to get all vehicles unlocked for any given tree.

The other problem is the high tier Air maps. The maps these jets fly are are designed around WWII aircraft performance, which is why top tier matches are typically much much shorter.

Lastly the limited number of targets to hit with ground munitions and the lack of longer range targeting. Bases give the most rp/sl but what if with bigger maps we added other bombing locations. Take out bridges, radar sights, bunkers, ammunition warehouses, alternative airfields, Submarine bases, ports, the list goes on and on. People can spread out hitting targets to help the team, while fighters do fighter things. Role bonous’s fighters get an extra 5% to SL and RP for taking out planes, attack and bombers get an extra 5% for taking out ground targets.
