They probably use stats of F-4J/S to balance F-4J(UK)
I don’t have solid proof, but only this can explain why Gaijin believes F-4J(UK) is fine, and all three of those are sharing the same BR in EVERY game mode despite the fact that F-4J(UK) is worse than other 12.0(ARB) Phantoms in Air sim.
No AIM-7F, no Spey engines. but have higher BR than F-4K/M in air sim and has the same BR as F-4J/S.
I’ve honestly given up on it at this point. They just keep giving me the same recycled excuses. Meanwhile, the Iranian F-14 is being moved up to 13.7, yet the Su-30MKK and Su-30MK2 are staying at 13.3. That alone says a lot about their priorities. They clearly don’t care about the British Phantoms. At times, it genuinely feels like they don’t even play their own game, especially when they continue to ignore years of feedback about how poor the F-4J(UK) is. A lot of people have already said they’d be perfectly happy with the FGR.2 moving to 12.3 if it received the same missile loadout as the tornado F.3 at 12.0. Instead, we’ll probably be waiting another few years before they even consider moving it back down, or, more likely, they’ll forget about the FGR.2 altogether, leaving it as one of the weakest aircraft at 12.3.

Iirc they are carried in the outer wing pylons, 2 of them would be fine like the bol on the premium harrier t10, 1 would lead to a asymetrical loadout which would kinda mess with the performance

I’d rather have a late model USAF variant. Either an ANG or Desert Storm-Era F-4E, or an F-4G, with AIM-7M, AIM-9L/M, and all the goodies I listed here:

Wish we had the CAA mode separate as another ACM mode, that has even better close-range clutter rejection. Maybe in the F-4E late.
its really funny how the F-3H has better clutter rejection than the F-4E in game
