In 90% of cases, I on the A-10 simply do not have time to get to the bases before the end of the battle, the battle ends and I leave with zero. And if you fly straight, you will be 100% shot down.
Bases are not the main target; ground forces, bunkers and tanks can also be destroyed, they pay no less. But the main problem is to reach the end of the battle in time.
Gaijin should just make another “Type” of plane that gets air spawn’s. Those that are to slow to actually get to the battlefield, and those that can’t defend themselves at all. (No gunner’s or very limited frontal weaponry)
You make it sound like war thunder’s a team game to begin with lol.
Though i somewhat agree with you, the game mode’s (and grind) themselves don’t make it worth being a team player.
And this is the question we have to discuss first!
Do we want a teambased game or not?
If you want airspawn for a single plane to give the player higher chance to gain personal ressources while have no impact to the battle denies this question. And divides the player base. Imo a anti-social behaviour.
Right decisions could do this in ARB too.
But it seems no one is interested in.
Every single discussion in this forum is only egoistic. Give the plane I prefer more advantage and forget about the rest.
Imagine only one decision: Eliminating all bases causes a win. The whole gameplay would be different.
Sure, there have to be many more changes, e.g. reward system. But we need these changes anyway.
Yea and nah. Wish Bomber’s would come back to the game again.

We used to be able to win by destroying the airfield but most fighter main’s complained about them being gunship’s. (I believe it was mainly sim that they were abused the most in.) So they were nerfed and nerfed to today’s free paper mache kill’s.
But this would be 2014-18 all over again if we make base bombing win the game.
Maybe bring back destroying the airfield but instead of winning, it disables the re-arm mechanic for missiles, bombs, rocket’s and cannon’s. (for planes with multiple weapon sizes.)
And for the gameplay side, would having ground rb type respawns work?
