When I started the votes, it always been 90%+ that do not like this feature.
Hope that i’m wrong about this devblog today. But as we know how gaijin likes to destroy their naval gamemode, they will implement it without listen our feedback.

On the topic, even AB players do not like this feature, this is not only RB players.
They should be looking (implementing) really fast because both Italy and Israel can be upgraded to a longer range Spike, leaving Germany the only nation with FnF missiles with shorter range.
There has to be a compensation, either 0.3 BR decrease or 12 PARSes
If you look close the BMP-2 actually has the D turret armor on without the D armor mod, so i think this is just making the Finnish armor actually have some value or they are buffing the Finnish turret armor so you cant be 50 called just like the Soviet one

You… you know we’re talking about adding them to War Thunder, right? What interesting ASW gameplay do you foresee? DDs (ships that do ASW) in this game exist entirely to provide RP for everything else. How do you propose they perform ASW?
Bridgelaying tanks would fit in this game infinitely better than submarines ever could.
Otherwise you’ve got destroyers & frigates going slow to detect subs with passive & active sonars, and these destroyers can also deploy anti-sub helicopters which themselves can deploy sonobouys, dipping sonars, and anti-sub torpedoes.
its gives value to destroyers and sub-chasers that they currently dont have and I beleive some cruisers have ASW capabilities. There is also ASW aircraft.
It adds a layer of gameplay currently missing and an interesting counter play. Defending your teams ASW assets whilst sinking theres so that subs can make their moves.
