Major Update "Seek & Destroy" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 5)

SA and India routinely hold votes to leave the commonwealth. I think the last SA vote was something like 53% remain. Both nations hate the UK and have very little in the way of relations currently

Meanwhile Japan and South Korea have fairly cordial relations currently I think and have even started exercises together if I’m not mistaken

Uh…

South Africa isn’t in the Commonwealth either.

It is, but barely

Phillipines used to be an American colony, like India was with UK. SK owes its existence to the US, and got a lot of support + we have a very strong relationship with SK

I mean thats better then most nations lol, the UK has I think a single variant better then the challenger 3 and that would be the 2024 3TD, could count the 130 as well if we wanted.

honestly america is one of the last if not the last nation that needs a sub tree

Guess what Korea used to be.

Plus, more importantly, the US DOES NOT NEED OR HAVE ROOM FOR A SUB NATION OR SUBTREE. Nothing except for maybe the Philippines should go to the US just because the Philippines doesn’t have much and wouldn’t miss out by being a subnation spread across the US tree.

Does that mean the UK can get US vehicles?

I think the better part is where he said

same can be said about the US lol

also Japan is actually in need of a sub tree, only having 4 lines and massive gaps in those 4 lines, America has no such gaps at least not ones SK could fill

also by your argument of the Philippines being a colony SK could go to both japan and china because of that lol

A south Asia Sub-TT for Japan would work well. Countries like Thailand, South Korea, maybe Vietnam, Indonesia, etc. Fills the holes that Japan has quite nicely

I think 2 more variants of the challenger 3. A later prototype version from this year and then the full production version at some point. Challenger 2 with the 130mm might be good, it might be another glass canon like the 3TD, really depends what stuff they removed to fit the gun

South Korea is also full of unique and interesting vehicles. And with the space available in the Japanese tree South Korea can have all of its indigenous equipment represented without denying space for what Japanese equipment can still be added.
Unlike other suggested subtrees which would, like Finland and Dutch-Belgian, be almost entirely copy-paste with little to no changes.

They have said multiple times that they won’t expand tech trees horizontally.

eh the production challenger 3 most likely would just be a copy paste of the 3TD (2020) or 3TD (2024) since I doubt much will change all that much besides maybe a different mounting system for the APS

? That was a really long time ago and the US is much more relevant to Phillipines than UK. And how does that mean UK can get US vehicles?

I think the full production is intended to get more armour and of course the much better shell.

M1A2 SEP V3, M1A2 SEP V4, AbramsX, M1 CATTB, M1 Thumper.

There are more than two.

They’re constantly updating the UI, a lot of the changes lead to expansion of space in trees so a subtree could work

US was a British colony.

SEP v4 canceled, abramsX no more than a prototype/expo showoff thing
