I’d agree it’s a proper production model if it was represented correctly with the current model of the 6002, that’s not the case. Clearly there was some major order to update all the Gripens to the Viggens wing design since all current F-39 also sport this change alongside 6002.
The current 6002 in game doesn’t follow current Gripen E configs and as it’s a unique Gripen it’s name should reflect that similar to the JA37DI F21 imo.
They did the same thing with the M1926 Dragoon. They could have talked about its airburst round, it having spall liners, maybe even specified that its “bulletproof armor” only resists 14.5mm. No, instead we get “large size” and “bulletproof armor”. The fact that nothing else was listed as important, probably means nothing else is getting added to it.

It’s still technically a Gripen E, i don’t think there is a president for Gaijin to make distinct names unless there is a corresponding vehicle it can be confused with in the game.

at least the f15e is a rocket with boat performance, the c feels so sluggish after using the e, or a rafale/euro

Anyway, it’s a tale as old as time. Good thing I can complain over how battered the US tree is at top tier while playing anything else if I wish.

The top tier sucks for us air but it’s pretty fun at lower tiers, i like the fa18a and f4e a lot

I’m inclined to disagree what we don’t need is a later Gripen E showing up being called Gripen E late. That’s not a real name and is a poor attempt to justify gaijins poor modeling of 6002. Given Smin refused to answer any pings in the thread about the Wings design I fully believe gaijin had no idea about the wings being changed because they used outdated information which I’d like them to correct
Multi vehicle AAs dont work on 90% of the maps in game so taking that and the fact Russia is one of the most popular nations in game into account i am not to surprised by this.

You’re sorely mistaken. This is a Block 52CM from the 157th FS, 169FW, South Carolina Air National Guard.
It is not a CCIP it is not a POBIT. It is a CM.
These were originally F-16CJ’s that were built and delivered in 1993-94 and upgraded with new avionics and in 2019 given the new radar for testing (for what would become the POBIT upgrade) and to further enhance their lethality. Minnesota ANG also got this capability and upgrade. This aircraft should get the Harm Targeting System and Block II ALQ-131 as well as Aim-9X at some point.
Anyone saying this is a POBIT doesn’t know what they’re talking about.

smin, if we have info regarding the waffentragger ammo compartment at least in terms of where the ammo is supossed to be at and how much can it carry but its only a picture, can we still use it as source?

I ment the other way around, if(/when, hoping) they add a newer in service Gripen E model to the game then i suggest the old one to be re-named, not the new one :P
