I’m inclined to disagree what we don’t need is a later Gripen E showing up being called Gripen E late. That’s not a real name and is a poor attempt to justify gaijins poor modeling of 6002. Given Smin refused to answer any pings in the thread about the Wings design I fully believe gaijin had no idea about the wings being changed because they used outdated information which I’d like them to correct
Multi vehicle AAs dont work on 90% of the maps in game so taking that and the fact Russia is one of the most popular nations in game into account i am not to surprised by this.

You’re sorely mistaken. This is a Block 52CM from the 157th FS, 169FW, South Carolina Air National Guard.
It is not a CCIP it is not a POBIT. It is a CM.
These were originally F-16CJ’s that were built and delivered in 1993-94 and upgraded with new avionics and in 2019 given the new radar for testing (for what would become the POBIT upgrade) and to further enhance their lethality. Minnesota ANG also got this capability and upgrade. This aircraft should get the Harm Targeting System and Block II ALQ-131 as well as Aim-9X at some point.
Anyone saying this is a POBIT doesn’t know what they’re talking about.

smin, if we have info regarding the waffentragger ammo compartment at least in terms of where the ammo is supossed to be at and how much can it carry but its only a picture, can we still use it as source?

I ment the other way around, if(/when, hoping) they add a newer in service Gripen E model to the game then i suggest the old one to be re-named, not the new one :P

I was lucky i grinded france and germany a couple months befor the su302 or f15c ge cause if I will still stuck only there I would have had an aneurysm like the US isnt mistreated in the slightest but goddamn are the devs really lost when it comes to desired additions, like they were 90% of the way there this update if we ggot the pobit lol.
This squadron in South Carolina is the only squadron that operates the Block 52CM in the entire Airforce in the SEAD role.

I don’t think so. It should be fine once all the missing bits like PIDS (with missiles and in general), extra mavericks, etc are implemented properly. The eventual HARM and ECM integration will also help with this. Right now it’s a matter of what the devs decide to give it off the bat not necessarily what it’s capable of as an aircraft itself.

I suggest we get it changed before they ignore it and screw up the name given the numerous examples that if you don’t get it changed early on it will never be changed.

the worst part is I cant even be fully mad cause were not abandoned like israel air, we get constant air vehicles they just add the worst options. its like how bad and barely working internet is more painful than simply no wifi

Because this fulfills a different role that the POBIT cannot which is SEAD/DEAD. This is not meant to be a POBIT replacement but a step in that direction. Once it is given HARM and ECM it should be more worth the grind. Until then it is only as good as it can be with what the devs have given/are willing to give it.
The F-16CJ/CM from the 157th FS, 179th FS, 480th FS, and the 3 squadrons at Shaw AFB (55th FS, 77th FS, and the 79th FS) are the only squadrons that operated the 16 in the SEAD role. With only a few others doing SEAD in the F-35.
The 13th FS in Japan has retired their CJ/CM’s and have transitioned to the F-35
Out of these the 157th FS (default skin in game) is the only operator of the Block 52 and their main mission is SEAD.
