so they just havent cared to model the gripen c or e radars
i wish the usa had that issue, they should add the su30sm2 radar to the f15ge and leave it for a year as a placeholder

They could at least give it 2 way datalink to boost lethality over the C-5 in a way that actually matters
right our TT is substancialy worse than anythign else. the f18 cant go past mach 1.1, its radar scope is much smaller compared to the EFT and the su30. only thin gon par is the number of missiles.

Saying the next F-16C will be a functional top tier jet is far more questionable than claiming that it won’t when considering the AIM-120D will be just another rigid stick with more range and probably even less maneuverability than AIM-120C-5s.
It was clearly described as a range improvement, but nothing else.

our only competitive planes for the wt meta are gonna be f15s, the f16 and f18 arent cutting it against the most modern 4.5 gens

We don’t have a real Gripen A, we don’t have a real Gripen C, and we don’t have a Gripen E we have a Gripen Demo which isn’t in swedish service.
They load outs have been ignored since they were added and numerous other problems lol.
Just saw aim120D having the same range as aim120c-5. Is Gaijin aware that the first aim120D version had circa twice the range of aim120c-7, which already had more range than aim120c-5? There is no source in existence that says that aim120D has the same range as aim120c-5.
now we’re likely gonna wait til summer to get the f15ex and then russia is gonna get the su35 with r37ms to counter it or something stupid like that, we just arent allowed to have a meta vehicle anymore

Idk Gaijin didn’t even know Gripen had different models for the C so maybe not or they just don’t care
gaijin dont care abt irl stats they just model it to their convenance
well for the e at least its a better radar, its been nice to use so im not looking forward to when it gets changed

The real life specs might differ from the in-game specs (which is a very common thing in WT)

2 way datalink would allow fire control and midcourse corrections via other friendly jets and awacs (not in game).
This would be way too op for now, and multiple other missiles have this capability, hence it’s pretty useless in game now
