Is this game only for Russian players? Other nations’ tech trees have just started introducing phased array radars, and now there’s a new SM2 that might be as strong as the Rafale (from what I understand, its airframe and radar will see significant improvements). The SM itself is already quite capable, and you could easily introduce the SU35 in a later version. Why does Russia get so many new additions for three consecutive updates? It’s clear that the development team is showing more favoritism toward Russia.
I don’t understand what the problem is, the SM2 will get a new radar with different viewing angles and possibly new engines (but not necessarily). It will still be worse than the new EFT

Do you have no understanding of the SU-30SM2 at all? Compared to the SM, it features a better engine, superior radar, an astonishing left/right scan angle of up to 120 degrees, and carries one of the best missiles in the game, the R-77-1—with 12 of them at that. How could it possibly be inferior to the Typhoon?
faster sure but maws is whatever, I’d rather have the 9 billion R-77-1s
I have both and tbh the euro is still better because of the Maws/360 deg rwr imo. To each their own tho.
I have a great understanding of the planes in the game, and no matter what the sm2 is, it will still be a heavy cow with a lot of missiles. EFT will lose its disadvantages and become the best plane in the game. Those who say that the AIM-120 is a bad missile, well, good luck to you guys anywhere but not in plane battles.

Its not that aim120 is bad, its that its so much worse than other missiles at the ranges where it actually matters.
Russia was one of the first countries to benefit from phased array radar technology, and now players from several other factions are just about to get access to it, only to find that Russia already has something even better? Just look at the American F-18E and F-15—compared to the SM2, they look like absolute clowns.
Because people saw the C5 version and thought it was the coolest, but it’s actually better for distances over 30km. I fly with 2-4 C5s, and everything else is under the A/B version. I don’t feel any discomfort.

Its not really bad though. It’s just incredibly mid. I think they should give the same half gate width of the mica to the c-5. would make it harder to notch and make it actually more reliable at range.
The Super Hornet is a real shame, no question about it, but the F-15CGE is an excellent aircraft that I love more than the Rafale and the Su30.
