The AMRAAM-ER is Intentionally Being Nerfed to Keep the AIM-120C-5 Nerfed

Very recently I made this bug report about the AMRAAM-ER that was denied:
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/eTU2W8BObO6G

If you’d like to see most of the details, feel free to read it, but to sum it up, the AMRAAM-ER on the Dev Server has considerably worse speed and range than the Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile, despite the fact they have the same exact motor, same body diameter/size, same fins/control surfaces, a 1KG mass difference. The only real difference is the AMRAAM-ER uses a skinnier guidance section. This report was denied in literally less than 5 minutes despite having very detailed information and extremely reasonable logic. The response, “Please don’t use sources on a different missile. We can’t accept such report,” was given. Which is quite strange because Gaijin infamously used the same logic in the MANPAD G overload nerf on this community post from 2023:

Now you might be thinking why? Well after thinking about for a bit with the relevant information i found when researching the AMRAAM-ER, it is quite obvious now. Based on this Kongsberg website, the AMRAAM-ER has a 50% increase range over the AIM-120C-7. Raytheon Family of Missiles Missiles– NASAMS – Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace - Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace

As established in my bug report the AMRAAM-ER should have a range of 50KM, or more. In game the AIM-120C-7 has a range of 25KM. A 50% increase of the 25KM range would only result in a max range of 37.5KM for the AMRAAM-ER. In order to make the AMRAAM-ER 50% more range true, the range of AIM-120C-7 would have to be increased. In order to calculate this, we can represent the unknown true range of AIM-120C-7 with X, with a coefficient of 1.5 for the 50% increase, equal to 50. This gives us the equation 1.5x=50. When you solve this equation you get x=50/1.5, which is equal to 33.33, giving the AIM-120C-7 a range of 33KM. 33.33KM-25KM / 25KM * 100 = 33.33%, meaning this would be a 33.33% range increase to the AIM-120C-7. I’m sure now some of you are asking why is that so significant? Well, if you are not aware the AIM-120C-7 and AIM-120C-5 currently in game are the same exact missile, and i mean every singular stat are the same. This massive AIM-120C-7 buff would be applied to the AIM-120C-5 as well, and when launched from air platform this would buff would be even more significant since air launched missiles launch with air speed, in thinner air, and don’t have to work against gravity as much. This buff would almost undoubtably make the AIM-120C-5 the best BVR missile in game, and would affect the, F/A-18C Late and the export variants, the F/A-18E Superhornet, the F-15C Golden Eagle, F-15E/I, all Eurofighters, the F-16I, and many future additions. It is very disappointing to see a bug report that should be accepted denied because of this.

Why

You changed tags and ignored commentary on why it was rejected no wonder they took it as spam.

Gaijin can only read Russian, maybe bug report in their language?

Were you also banned from game?

thankully no.

i have created a ticket in Gaijin support under for violation complaint explaining everything so lets see where that goes.
Ive had enough of these CBR BRMs and their power trips

This is the newer version of AMRAAM-ER which uses the new rocket motor form Nammo, what we have in the game is the older one which uses ESSM motor

thats good to hear. Even i got ban for KE-W A2 shell. Anyways this is my last off topic post. Sorry about posting off topic

These conspiracy theories are getting wild

But data from basic RIM-162 don’t seem right for gaijin, despite having same engine.

maybe he can try reporting just the engine?

report:
Engine XYZ used on the AMRAAM-ER as well as [wtv the missile name was] is currently lacking this that and so so

No evidence motor was changed afaik

Well, just guidance code.

I see. Thanks.
