As fitting as it would be for Gaijin to give Britain yet another useless RARDEN vehicle, I doubt that any of those CVR(T)s would be high enough in BR to be winter event reward material

from the information ive found im not sure whether to call that turret a fox turret or not because it is slightly different. I may just be nitpicking a slight revision slightly too much
The Fox turrets were later used on FV432s to make the 432/30 (you can actually drive most of the 432/30 fleet at Armourgeddon where they have been converted into paintball tanks) while the sabres turrets were built specifically for the vehicle with a couple visual changes.
the sabre has new stowage bins on the turret and a new shroud around the coaxial machine gun which isnt present even on a scimitar or scorpion. it may only be a planned revision but cant find similar on a fox or any other CVR turret

Depends if gaijin goes for the modified RM 30mm APFSDS round that was kinda in the works for RARDEN, would bonk the LEP or Scimi 2 up into the 9.X region, high enough for it if gaijin wants to do that.
Thermals, APFSDS, pretty nippy mobility, not too big, LRF. Could work out.

The main ground reward vehicles of the last four years all were above 10.3, the lowest being the Vilkas at 10.7

Eh I can see a 9.0 Scimitar with it and the other changes.
It wouldnt just be the round, remember improved drive train to 235hp for more mobility (if its the 2011 LEP), LRF, thermals gen 2, adds up.

Everything I have ever read says they’re recycled Fox turrets with minor modifications to bring them to the same standards as Scimitar, e.g. new domed turret hatches, modernised driver’s controls, additional crew stowage, etc. The whole point was to replace the Foxes which kept rolling over.
That’s cause they replaced the Co-axial mg with a L94 chain gun, as seen on Warrior and the Challengers. Why not the whole fleet I don’t know.
if it still doesn’t have a stabiliser its gonna be so agonizing to play even if they give it APFSDS
yeah I hope its the Aussie Boxer CRV it would finally give the UK a FnF ATGM on the ground (even if spike isnt great)
Hq11’s performance is disappointing, not split air defense, ammunition is also very little, can give such air defense two ammunition boxes?

the “improved drivetrain” wont really do much, its an extra 40 horsepower but youre carrying a couple extra tons of cope cages and mine protection negating the performance boost.
the only normal improvement is ASPIRE and ESPIRE which would be a laser rangefinder and thermals, these improvements cant raise it above 8.3 as warrior has gen 2 thermals, laser rangefinder, better armour for not much worse mobility and a MILAN 2 missile.
a LEP and mk2 scimitar realistically would only be on par with that option with a dart as they dont get an ATGM solution to thicker armour head on.
the only time a rarden has been op in the years ive been playign was when fox was 6.7, and that was only from the skill gap between british players and the 6.7 german masses.
khorne mate im sorry to break this to you but this is a genuine skill issue. the RARDEN is a consistent and reliable gun with good damage, penetration and handling. if you cant get a RARDEN to work for you then I cant see any light vehicle working for you
WT has no light vehicles with ATGMs or larger guns, I guess
tbf, the RARDEN is a lot less forgiving than the guns mounted on other light tanks and IFVs
It has a glacial rate of fire and your best shell is a low-caliber APDS, which does low-caliber APDS things, ie randomly shattering on plates that aren’t perfectly 90° to it and having minimal post-pen fragmentation
youre trading one big chunk of damage for more shots downrange.
its not like rarden cant oneshot across a map on a light target either. the amount of times ive smacked leopards from getting on for 1500m in the side is plenty.
ATGMs ive never got to work as anything more than a close range shotgun because peeking out for a snipe is often too risky

You’re talking like the RARDEN is a gun forged by god himself but you somehow can’t even get a positive K/D inthe Warrior or the Scimitar and you’re barely positive in the Fox

But denying the RARDEN is at best a mid gun that has a lot of issues is straight-up huffing copium
