Just sad to see Python 5 seemingly coming in its dev WiP state. Besides the flare rejection you already mentioned :
It ‘wobbled’ very erratically after launch which drained huge amounts of energy
It should have a smokeless motor but didn’t
It should pull 50G but I was barely seeing it reach 35.
It lofted hyper-aggressively and would often stall and just spin out, aimlessly making large circles
And for whatever odd reason, it often just… missed?, like it would just fly straight past things making no effort to actually turn into them. Sort of like how old bugged Stingers used to a few years ago on Type-93.
Several of these have accepted bug reports. Sadly it looks like all these issues are still going to be present on live based on these datamines…
@Smin1080p_WT is there a reason why US aircraft besides the F/A-18C Late arent getting their Laser JDAM’s despite the evidence they could use which was posted earlier here?
Also… just realised. Hunter F58. The Swiss export variant of the Hunter F6… Has AAMs + fuel tanks already. The Belgium Hunter F6… Has AAMs + Fuel tanks.
Sorry is there any chance you could comment in this?
Hearing that Sniper would be coming for the A-10C and F-15E was great but now some of the main points a lot of people wanted them for has just been blanked.
842 votes with a 93% approval (and most of those voting against I think are people that just dont want aircraft to get any buffs or changes due to GRB)
Hi @Smin1080p_WT
the Datamine states that the AS-30 is being removed from the Mirage IIIS.
Could you say why this is the case, because it could carry it IRL and it had it on the dev-server.
7/8 Rank VIII British aircraft are (for a lack of a better word) dependent on BOL. The only one that doesnt have BOL, could get BOL (and maybe should imo)
It would be huge to be fixed and not just for Britain. Problem child aircraft for multiple other nations like the Viggen D/Di would also get hugely buffed
Ignoring the rocket pylons, the hunter has 4 default stations: 1, 2, 3, and 4.
The fuel tanks being added are the larger ones for stations 2 & 3, the F58 uses AAM rails on stations 1 & 4. SRAAM from what I can tell are mounted on stations 2 & 3 so that’s where the conflict arises.
SRAAM on a Hunter, note the dog tooth in the wing, which occurs just outboard of stations 2 & 3
The FGA.9’s have the AAMs mounted on a “new” station between the inboard and outboard stations as seen in the 2nd picture I sent earlier.
I guess we need to bug report the lack of the smaller 100 gal tanks? Though that might be a FAA thing?
Yeah. I do think a cap on the amount of BOL pods might be in order. the F-18 with 8x might screw over the chances for getting BOL fixed. But yeah. 2 being added to aircraft here and there wouldnt hurt
