and it looks like the only other differences are antennas which still means the airframe is largely copied
dont think i said it was stolen, if i did then copy would be a more correct description

Ok so it simplified the process but still doesn’t negate all previous RCS reducing experience and development of RAM coating years before. So all of the US stealth tech does not come from this one paper
they had problems with diffraction which they solved with a soviet research paper
saying soviet research wasnt involved in the US stealth development is a lie
and it is still used to calculate the optimal shapes for stealth aircraft
(the most important aspect of a stealth aircraft)
The base software was still made by Lockheed. I’m sure they refined the computers and formulas past the Soviet paper to make things like the F-22, and more recently B-21
It helped but everything else is Lockheed or USAF or CIA
which wasnt able to give correct results
it only was able to calculate the correct values after they applied that research paper
and everything after that is based on the F-117 programm regarding steath
The Z-20 is an S-70 airframe modified to fit specific requirements for the Chinese military. Its more of a variant than a copy if anything
Also remember china has/had S-70s in service in some capacity so its an airframe they would have had plenty of experience with. Its no different then Chinese Flankers really.
