the F-15 is just a complet copy of the Mig-25 as well
trust
when was that paper published? if you have the day it would be nice
1962
Tbh that’s more plausible than the J-20 being a copy of the F-22 since the US actually got a Mig-25 prototype
Lmao
A-12 which had RCS reduction measures flew that same year, and couple years before that there was the Convair kingfish proposal which specfically was made to have reduced RCS, but lost out because the A-12 was faster
so no, US stealth and Lockheed experience with RCS reduction doesnt come from some Soviet paper
belenko defection was 1976 4 years after the F-15A first flight
I know, just kidding
But what if americans time traveled?
I bet they time traveled to steal russian inventions
And they did the same for all stuff Chinese were gonna invent in the future
dont think the PLAAF would even have J-8’s if we could
yes it does
they wouldnt have been able to make the RCS simulations for the F-117 without it
they already knew how to do RCS reduction and did extensive radar testing on spy planes, unless the paper was cited in a Lockheed one for the F-117 RCS simulations i dont believe it
Spoiler
A-12 radar testing
wiki lol
I know it’s frustrating since wikipedia is the only easy way to find informations, but it’s also not reliable at all and full of fake/unbased claims so you can’t use it to prove anything or even seek informations
sometimes i use the references to find legitimate stuff, but the references for that specific claim dont have any links
iam not willing to buy a book to win an argument Lockheed Martin F-117 Nighthawk (Warbird Tech Series, 25, Band 25) : Jenkins, Dennis R.: Amazon.de: Bücher
Yeah sometimes things are linked to good sources, but most of the time sadly things are either backed by nothing at all or by a random website itself backed by nothing, or sometimes a website that doesn’t exist anymore. At some point I created an account and I tried to fix things but there are ogs who just block anything you do if it doesn’t seem good to them, even when what you’re trying to fix was originally backed by nothing
the references in quetsion:
i mean that specific claim
it is in those books:
Jenkins, Dennis R. Lockheed Martin F-117 Nighthawk . North Branch, Minnesota: Specialty Press, 1999
Crickmore, Paul F. and Alison J. Nighthawk F-117 Stealth Fighter. St. Paul, Minnesota: Motorbooks, 2003.

whats stopping wiki editors from putting it there as a citiation without actually showing it?
