Major Update "Leviathans" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

thats a lie

Go into a match now and take a screenshot then

You are aware that it being historical or not doesn’t matter.

As WT has represented historical stuff like lend-lease(aka exported vehicles, in the nation they were exported to) from day 1.

thats one way for me to kick off the F-4J stock grind

Only Soviet though we Brits still missing a ton of our lend leases tho : (

Told ya lol

Then you have a pretty low standard for hope. The 2A6 already isn’t even the best Leopard 2 in game anymore and it will continue to be left behind.

Hell the nerf they are getting next update is already interesting.

what happened?

Because accuracy is a sliding scale and not an absolute. Gaijin will take liberties as they see fit to mold their vision of their game. They do NOT have to appeal to us in anyway, especially while people keep spending money. They do it because they actually do like their players and have passion for these vehicles they add like we do, but they also understand it’s a business and a game.

Just treat bug reports as suggestions to the devs, then the mentality makes a lot more sense. They accept what they want to accept, they refuse what they don’t want to accept and it’s their game so nothing has to be 100% real and accurate.

It doesn’t pen into the main part of the turret and thus the crew will still be alive, but it will now become a lot easier to firepower kill the Leopard 2A5+ tanks.

Hell even the tactic of somewhat wiggling your turret between shots to make it harder for the enemy to hit your mantlet will become less useful.

Well Gaijin wont fix CR2…So yeah what expectations can Britain have…

Typhoon is the only thing Britain have at top tier isn’t crap.

Gaijin does treat realism as an absolute, they have stated that multiple times. They literally stated that they DON’T do changes to vehicle stats for the sake of the game but only to mirror reality, multiple vehicles were removed because of that reason. They NEVER said historical bug reports are a suggestion, they are there to fix their historical oversights.

And what are you on about with ‘appealing to us’? I was talking about how THEIR logic that comes from THEIR statements and additions makes no sense, if Gaijin actually came out and said ‘oh we dont care much about historical accuracy or realism it’s just an aesthetic choice and we change and add things based on what we see fit’ then i wouldn’t give a damn, but when they repeatedly make bizarre choices then their reaction to our reports is either silence or just ‘i dont like your sources’ is when its gets annoying, they dont follow any logical consistency…

I hope tomorrow will be a bit more exciting

Eh you are in for a rude awakening either way regardless on which of the 2 options you want.

They also stated there will be no missiles in WT… or better yet, they denied the suggestion to add the F-16AJ (as the alternative as the XF-2A), but then went ahead and added the AJ anyway

My point is Gaijin says what they have to, because there are people that keep bugging them. Now I do want to say this doesn’t mean never to listen to Gaijin and they always lie, but it’s more, don’t take them at face value for everything.

Stop looking at only what they say, and look at what they do. The old saying “actions speak louder than words”, but in this case also, actions matter more than what is said.

You know Gaijin won’t say that because there are people out there that play this game with the illusion that accuracy is priority and as a business, to appeal to as much people as possible, they will be tight lipped about it and have a PR answer. However, as I mentioned above, look at what they do and you’ll see some consistency.

Speaking of which,

They do follow a logic and that is they do what they want. That doesn’t mean Gaijin doesn’t listen to us. We’re free to tell them how we feel, but they’re also free to ignore us too.

The whole point is, we are not Gaijin’s boss so they don’t need to do exactly what we tell them to (even if players have wildly different opinions and give conflicting feedback so can’t please everyone), so why is everyone acting surprised as if this hasn’t been how Gaijin has operated for years?

Range is classified but most agree 300~400 for ASM-3A while the original ASM-3 is shorter around 150~200km (still insane numbers for WT purposes tho)

Tho ASM-3 might have the biggesr punch since at heart its still a anti ship missile.

Can you tell us when the old missile guidance physics of the Roland (perhaps also VT-1) will be transferred to the new missile guidance physics? According to Wareta (Tech Mod) they still have the old physics:
“As far as I remember Roland Series has not been transfered yet to new missile physics unlike OSA”

There is also a report on the Roland guidance (see reports) but nothing has been changed since then. The Roland is simply not good against moving targets and would be better if it were transferred and players would have alot more fun with it.

I was naming two examples, not every one.
