The hope was equipping them alongside AAMs. At hte moment, based on the datamines, you cannot.
This is 100% wrong for the FGA9. So I shall report tomorrow once it has hit live and hopefully I can orphan the F6 into that as well. But the ONLY reason for those 2 airframes to be at their current BRs is the missile. If those arent taken because of fuel tanks. Then Im essentially using a 9.0 aircraft at 9.7 for no apparent reason.
I once again pray we get F104 wingtip tanks

The tricky bit is going to be the F6. As of course the SRAAMs never entered service. But hopefully the evidence of the FGA9 with AAMs + Fuel tanks might be enough for the F6 too.
Though then we also need to wait for a bug report to be actioned and the F6 already has a MAJOR bug report that is nearly 3 years old already and another than is a year+

I will just add the FGA.9 in game uses the wrong pylon for the AAM in game from what I can tell, but hopefully that shouldn’t effect things.
Just sad to see Python 5 seemingly coming in its dev WiP state. Besides the flare rejection you already mentioned :
It ‘wobbled’ very erratically after launch which drained huge amounts of energy
It should have a smokeless motor but didn’t
It should pull 50G but I was barely seeing it reach 35.
It lofted hyper-aggressively and would often stall and just spin out, aimlessly making large circles
And for whatever odd reason, it often just… missed?, like it would just fly straight past things making no effort to actually turn into them. Sort of like how old bugged Stingers used to a few years ago on Type-93.
Several of these have accepted bug reports. Sadly it looks like all these issues are still going to be present on live based on these datamines…

Also… just realised. Hunter F58. The Swiss export variant of the Hunter F6… Has AAMs + fuel tanks already. The Belgium Hunter F6… Has AAMs + Fuel tanks.

SRAAM wasnt on those pylons unfortunately. So its unlikey the F.6 will be accepted based on the AIM-9 placement.
FGA.9 however yes.
Because of the placement of their missiles.
Currnetly the FGA.9 uses the inboard tank pylon.

Hearing that Sniper would be coming for the A-10C and F-15E was great but now some of the main points a lot of people wanted them for has just been blanked.

Yeah its a shame to see them come in such a bad WIP state, even the IRIS-T barely cracked 30G sometimes

the Datamine states that the AS-30 is being removed from the Mirage IIIS.
Could you say why this is the case, because it could carry it IRL and it had it on the dev-server.
