I never said they were either. I’m just pointing out that the USSR has been getting Czech vehicles, at least giving us a clue about what its subtree could be.
With Israel, we dont have a single hint.
Not even one. Theres absolutely no indication of what its subtree might be, or if its even going to get one at all.
Exactly
you said it yourself. I stopped spending money on Israel a while ago too.
I put my money where there are clear signals, and Gaijin just hasn’t given any promising signs when it comes to Israel. Honestly, at this point, it just doesn’t feel worth it.
There hasnt been a good sub tree addition since they added South Africa. And every sub tree they added after SA got progressively worse and worse.
All the actually Unique vehicles theses sub trees could get are pass up in favor of being made into event vehicles and premiums or just forgotten about entirely.
South Africa itself has been completely sidelined in favor of India it feels with the only actually new vehicles they have received in the last year or so being the superhind. They have yet to add any South African aircraft outside of the Gripen which was just an easy hand me down because they were adding it to Sweden at the same time.
A vast majority of Finlands unique vehicles are locked behind an event or premium wall or just not present entirely (there are several Patria options they could have added day one)
The Benelux tree is just Germany 2.0 shoved into france because gaijin likes to add actual French vehicles at a literal snails pace.
Indias entire existence in the game so far has just been Russian copy and paste thrown into the british Tree with their one actual unique vehicle being an event (Marut), and i can hazard a guess that stuff like the HAL Tejas and Arjun will end up as an event or premium as well.
The Swiss subtree looked promising but with C-3604 being a premium i am expecting it to end up largely the same as Finland which is disappointing because MOWAG has a bunch of interesting options to add to the game.
Overall while subtrees sound like a neat Idea they have been executed abysmally and in all honesty most of these sub trees would have worked better as a half tree in the same fashion israel is done over anything else.
I just feel like that won’t ever happen because it would make CAS boring and as much as we might not like it CAS is a part of the game and a valid playstyle. What they really need to do is nerf the CAS outliers and make it more rewarding SP wise to take down aircraft so that you can spawn in your own aircraft and counter CAS as aircraft is and always will be the best counter to CAS.
Are you sick and tired of your favorite nation being treated as nothing but a cheap gap filler?
Are you fed up with seeing the most interesting, significant and unique vehicles of said nation being used as cheap ways to convince Timmy to spend his mom’s hard earned cash?
The solution is right here!
The reworked subtree system aims to create a much more fair systems for nations, where no single nation is an easy gap filling solution, but a mutually beneficial system allowing more interesting nations to come to the game while equaling out balance between game factions. The main benefits are:
No more second class nations; Subtrees get their own separate research trees that can be fleshed out the same way any other nation can, allowing nations to reach their full potential without having the bulk of a nations unique content being limited to the premium section!
More flexibility; As seen with all factions and their respective research trees, a player can freely choose which to play. This allows players to independently play nations that might otherwise not receive their independent trees. No longer is an independent BeNeLux or India just a dream!
All the benefits of subtrees; Despite the extensive changes, the benefits of subtrees, such as shared lineups and research are kept in plece. Find out more in the suggestion!
And the whole concept can still be improved based on player feedback, so any thoughts, criticisms and ideas for improvement are greatly appreciated!
Anyways, I’m always excited to see some more unique low tier aircraft, even if it’s unfortunately limited to a premium. I guess that’s just what you get when you try to cram multiple nations into a barely 1 nation sized research tab…
