@Smin1080p_WT Hi, I’m taking advantage of the fact that you’re talking about the Phimat, in the server dev the Mirage F1s received the Phimat but only on its starboard side but irl it can also use it on the port side (it is possible to carry two pods simultaneously). I’ve made several bug reports but none have been noticed so far, would it be possible to foward it ?
So the F-15J(M) was already considered to receive AIM-120C-5?
Because it’s somewhat obscure information that Japan even had the C-5 it seems like something the devs might not have thought of but would be interested to consider with the current lack of 14.0 for Japan.
Fixed AAM-4 would have similar range still, but lower seeker range (15km vs 16km now), lower G load (25G vs 32G now), with the main improvements being the improved datalink and frequency modulation. It can also still only be carried on the fuselage, which would mean the average ARB lineup still uses 2 AMRAAMs.
So personally I’d like to see both. Shouldn’t be an issue at 14.0 anyways
The bottom one is Israeli last I checked, I don’t believe it derives from an American made system.
Correction, it is an Israeli variant, but the US Army did test this variant, maybe even used it. It might even be a similar or the same system as shown above. However it wasn’t created by the US, but rather for them, and the Israelis ended up using them it seems.
The MiG-29 Sniper, the unique Romanian-Israeli upgrade of the MiG-29, was enhanced to carry a more advanced and versatile weapons loadout compared to the original MiG-29. Here’s a rundown of the types of weapons it could carry:
Kh-25 (AS-10 Karen): Smaller, precision-guided missile for ground attack roles.
Various guided bombs and unguided rockets could also be carried, depending on mission requirements.
Guns
The standard 30mm GSh-30-1 cannon, internally mounted on the MiG-29 airframe.
Additional Upgrades
Integration of modern Israeli avionics and targeting systems allowed for improved targeting accuracy, enabling the Sniper to deploy these weapons more effectively.
Im not sure spesifically what you mean by this, but as with all matters of this kind, if you have valid public sources that show something is incorrect, you can report it here: Community Bug Reporting System
Hey @Smin1080p_WT , sorry to bother you again with this, but are there any plans to add the 275 gallon drop tanks from the Swiss F-5E to any other F-5E and the F-20?
Understandable. It would be absolutely wonderful if they could at least be brought over to the F-20.
I do currently have a bug report that was acknowledged/accepted regarding the F-20’s missing 275 gallon tanks, so I’m not sure I could submit another without it being seen as a duplicate.
Is there any report with information covering the ASM-2? Only the ASM-2B version is ground attack through GPS lock only. Its other guidance methods are for anti-ship.
On top of this @Smin1080p_WT , are there any plans the fix the AN/ALE-40’s dispensing pattern of the F-5/F-20 series? As of the launch of the last major update Hornet’s Sting, their drop pattern has been completely broken. Some other aircraft, such as the Q-5s had theirs fixed recently, and the F-16s recently had their’s adjusted.
I discussed it more in this thread here:
However on top of this, the new Mirage IIIS coming to the game uses the same dispenser and yet in the live server it has the correct drop pattern while the F-5s still don’t.
If there’s nothing internal, are you able to nudge/forward this? I’d really appreciate it. It should be a really simple fix, and it would really help out these aircraft, as the amount of countermeasures they can use has effectively been halved…
