Surbaissemaxxing the war thunder Forum Moderator says you are not a reliable source lol what is your response?

ChatGPT said:

Haha, fair enough! If Surbaissemaxxing (quite the username!) says I’m not a reliable source on the War Thunder forums, they probably have a reason—especially if it’s about technical gameplay details, patch notes, or historical data specific to the game. Forums like that are often full of hardcore players and modders who live and breathe the meta, and they’re often better for the most current insider info.

LMFAO

i excepted a funny response but no lol

@Smin1080p_WT Sorry for the ping, the Phimat was added to the Mirage F1 during server development but only one pod was added even though it can carry a second one, I made several bug reports but they went unnoticed, would it be possible to do something?

Right. Im home from work. So i’ll have a go at explaining it now.

In essence, Vanguard is a “Fast-Battleship” and would probably be better classified as a battlecruiser rather than a battleship in the traditional sense (Britain didnt really call anything a “battlecruiser”). She has far more in common with HMS Hood than she does with the Queen-Elizabeth-Class Battleships like HMS Warspite.

What about old reports closed 2/3 years ago as accepted on performance of other missiles, like the reduced smoke and wrong motor of the rb24j or the wrong G load and lock distance of the aim9m. Will they ever be brought back or will they be forgotten by time like other old reports.

If a report is closed (as in has been responded too and closed off), then naturally no the report is not going to come back.

Hey @Smin1080p_WT, I apologise for the ping, are there any news regarding the addition of fuel dumping to other jets? So far, from my understanding, the F-111 is the only jet whith which we can test this new mechanic, while on other jets that should have it the interface still says “fuel dumping not available”.

Hey. If there was new news, we would update the changelog as such.

Its just the F-111A for now.

Hey Smin, any info regarding the sniper pod that could be seen on F-2 already? Will this pod appear on other platforms (e.g F-16, F-15E)?

Yeah but if you accept a report as the source a are valid, and then you leave It be without implementing the change after 2 to 3 years it’s kinda like forgetting about it’s ecxistance, it’s like It never was a report.

Big question…

Any new barges for naval?
/hj

Do you know if Aim-120C5’s current performance is reportable or if the devs have made the decision to model it ahistoricaly on balance/gameplay grounds?

At the moment, its hardly worth being added

So… it’s because they’re both fast? Yeah… battleships got faster. I don’t think that really think that’s enough to warrant moving her behind Hood unless they were both designed for the same purpose or Vanguard somehow evolved from Hood. Vanguard was designed to be in the battle line while Hood wasn’t, right? So would it not make more sense for her to follow Warspite or Rodney?

Either way, Gaijin has made it very clear that they could not care less where ships do and do not belong. Quite frankly I’m a little surprised Iowa isn’t behind Alaska, after all;

No. Fast-Battleship was litereally a different class of ship for Britain.

Vanguard probably did largely evovle from the Admiral-Class with lessons learnt from the KGV Class

No?

If anything Vanguard was very much designed for very very different combat than the Dreadnoughts like the QE-Class.

We’ve gotten ships moved before. I dont see why this would be any different.

That’s interesting. The American (and Japanese) fast battleships were designed specifically to fight the same kind of line battles, just faster. What was the Royal Navy’s plans then? Did they expect the small skirmishes that they actually ended up with?

Im not sure on specifics. Riley is far more read up on this than I am, But I think the need for ships to be deployed all over the place, rather than single giant fleet like Jutland was far more valuable. A ship that can get from place to place quickly was considered very valuable.

Remember, Vanguard didnt enter service until the end of the war, she wasn’t designed during the early interwar period like Hood/Rodney or even ww1 like the QE-Class was. The threat she was designed in mind to find was ships like Bismark or defend convoys from air attack.

i have SMS Baden, what battle rate planes are in that battle rate?

once i played SMS Baden and there was no plane

Are you asking what aircraft would be good to use alongside SMS Baden?

no i mean what planes are allowed, some examples

You can now bring up to 8.3 aircraft (and I think on the dev stream they said 8.7)

So that would mean you could bring stuff like the Me-262, AR234, IL-28 and the He-177 A-5 is a notable aircraft here as it has the Fritz-X
