Well, it shouldn’t get them if it was to remain at 13.0, as it already is rather strong compared to all the other 13.0s

I hate you, give me F-2 now!
But now that that’s said, I need my Thai cope Hornet. They were proposed, tested, selected, bought, produced and even paid to about 1/4 of the total cost, that’s way more than so many other vehicles in game have going for them.

Viggen DI does not have a better radar lmao and they all have much worse flight performance than the F-14B and all except for the F-4F ICE carry fewer missiles than the F-14B
The AMRAAMs are the only thing keeping these planes at 13.0, nothing else about them would put them at that BR.
The F-14B has a solid flight model, an okayish radar, plenty of missiles and a boatload of CMs
The Viggen DI has nothing of that
The Sea Harrier only has its radar and a ton of CMs that aren’t of much use anyways due to its flight characteristics and carries only 4 missiles (5 at most if you are willing to sacrifice an AMRAAM and almost half of your CMs)
The AV-8B+s are slightly better off than the Sea Harrier, but still terrible 13.0 platforms
And the F-4F ICE trades flight performance and CMs for better missiles
all aspect PD radar = better than f14b head on only PD radar

yes you can test drive it or see its stats in xray mode in hangar by hovering your mouse over the radar

Fair enough, in any case though. Viggen DI vs F-14B is pretty fair/balanced
F-14B more than likely wins the WVR fight between them and the Viggen Di is overall much weaker defensively with half the number of BOL and a very weak RWR. I’d guess they are fairly evenly matched in a BVR fight depending on the exact conditions on the fight.
F-14B doesnt implicitly need Aim-9Ms, rather the F-4F ICE and Tornado F3 Late probably should be 13.3 but cant due to compression issues.
AV-8B+ and Sea Harrier FA2 have some noticable disadvantages and need the 9Ms at that BR, even though in the FA2s case, you’d rarely take them
