The radar is the same, it had same range as MICA EM but no thrust vectoring, so many regarded it as the worst.
No the base 77 was not very good at BVR…and yes the 27SM radar is not very good
There is a lot of people with skill issues complaining about it, Radar indeed was bad but as we see 30SM will gives us a good PESA

No, the base R-77 wasn’t all that great, you had to get within 15km to even hit anything semi-reliably.

At this point the only viable F-2 will be J/APG-2 F-2 or even 2019 F-X radar F-2 both with AAM-4B or st least buffed AAM-4
