It’s a really MID ARH paired with the worst Top Tier radar, even the good PESA on the Su-34 couldn’t save it
I’m not surprised they always seem to gimp the additions to nato armaments on planes for the most part. They should have at least gave the f18 Aim120 c5 to make it some what useful or gave gbu-53 storm breaker that is also in the files. But you know they fine with adding kh38s that have no counter and on top of that there adding it to the Su30 that never carried it IRL lol.

due to engine limitations the r-77s have the same (highest iirc) drag profile for the entire flight time which leads to massive energy loss effectively cutting the range down. That and it doesnt have a sustainer.

We actually do, playing the Su-27 was bad, the SM was not any better. This is the first fighter (that is not a giant whale) with a decent radar
hes trolling i think, they were using it to show off the new drone pov in picture so you can see through its camera while controlling your tank.

Didnt say its doa im saying only the later versions will be useful to add now. Which is not what we wanted. Japan already lacks options they should of started with early versions and work their way up now really only 2 versions matter now reducing the options

Finnish F/A-18C from dev stream could be basic version. no targeting pod, lack JHMCS and zero Air-to-Ground armaments
