@Stona_WT
As a naval player, i have to agree with this person.
This is a serious issue, with me sometimes taking out more then 50% or even sinking an enemy ship, meanwhile another ships shoots at it and kills it.
Then i receive 100rp and 800sl but the person killing it, receives the full reward.
I must also say, for the duration of a naval battle and the chance of killing an enemy, the rewards are very low.
Lets say a top tier battle takes an average of 20/25 minutes, and kill 3-4 ships with a premium, you get around 6-8K RP and 80-100K SL.
This is to low with the tremendous amount of RP needed for naval.
I’m playing a lot naval battles and I agree what people are saying about it. There are more ridicolus situations. For example i reduced enemy ship to 1% crew + destroying many modules with AP shells and last single shot is doing AI from my team finishing enemy ship. I received nothing, no kill and assist. There are many situations like this when we have more AI ships. When they finish kill you get nothing. They just reset all your effort.
Still a 33 ton tank, still 560mm LOS counting RHA… in order to withstand top tier shells, it would need to have a higher KE efficiency than RHA, which I find unlikely, since only present day MBTs are even getting close to that at last.
I hope that they could squeeze in fixing this bug report I made about the J35XS radar in the coming patch or the immediate bug fixes after it. Check it out, it’s kind of wack honestly.
Subject: Option to Remove Unused Game Modes (Naval)
Dear Gaijin Team,
I appreciate the depth and variety of content in War Thunder, but I (and many others) have no interest in naval battles. Yet, the game forces me to keep all the ship-related files installed, taking up unnecessary space.
Please consider adding an option to uninstall unused game modes like naval battles. Many modern games allow selective installation, and it would improve both storage management and overall performance for players who don’t engage with certain content.
I don’t want to manually delete files and risk the launcher redownloading them or breaking the game. All I’m asking for is a proper in-game option to remove naval assets if I don’t play them. This would be a simple but impactful quality-of-life improvement.
