hell no, its an American eagle. if Israel sold their F-15I to Saudi then they could get those, but guess what? they didnt

LM Sanders legacy lives on

they are the only foreign company that are allowed access to the highest classified levels of the pentagon

theres a special agreement specifically to detach them from their foreign ownership for this type of stuff
https://www.baesystems.com/en-us/our-company/about-us/bae-systems--inc-/special-security-agreement

Guess it’ll just have to do as a skin for one of the existing US F-15s then. Sounds like a fine solution.

they have F15s already so not a big deal

different radar, cockpit, airframe, payload, sensors, engines

where do you think they got them from?

Mergers are a big part of BAE’s DNA, and there’s nothing else really in the UK to merge with so we’re just eating up little bits from all across the world.

It really is a multinational defense company in every way

Saudi Arabia isn’t locked to any nation yet, so they could potentially provide a F-15 as premium or event material for the US tree.

Not saying they need it of course, just that they could get one.

F-15SA actually fits the best into the tech tree out of all the export eagles. id like to see it there (in USAF test livery ofc)

I’m not gonna join in on that debate lol

yeah pretty much every single plane from ww2 the british built can now be traced to BAE

fair enough. makes a nice stepping stone between F-15C golden eagle and F-15EX imo

Saudi Arabia is one of the least bad options for an Israel subtree, though I’m not sure it’s the best in terms of complimenting the Israeli tree.

Israel really doesn’t have many friends outside of the US, finding them a subtree is a pain, personally I’m a fan of South Korea, although I think Turkey’s new armoured vehicle developments would be an interesting, and very complementary addition to the Israeli ground tree.

They’re working with Indonesia and South Korea right now

Gonna leave it at that

Like I said, South Korea is my personal pick (I’m assuming they can’t get their own tree) and I think it helps Israel the most where they need it, which is on the Ground, the Chunma would easily be their most competent SPAA, and the K21 would be a unique IFV that doesn’t weigh more than some MBTs.

The only risk would be that it may end up turning Israel, at least their ground tree, into a South Korean tree, at least at top tier, given all the potential South Korean additions at the higher BRs
