Would they be called:
F-15A(UK), F-14A(UK), F/A-18A(UK) and F-117(UK)?
Or F-15K, F-14K, F/A-18K and F-117K?

the selling point would be brimstones that are just a sad shell of what they should be right now so i dont see it being that good, unless they give it ASRAAM

thats taken by Korean F-15K already

Dangit

I thought it was the Super Hornet we considered buying, back in 2010

the F-117 would be the F-117C as it actually was a planned modification with british avionics and british engines

Really? Didn’t know about that… Interesting

It’s getting boring now especially when the purist and anti British starts to moan

israel shouldnt have ever been its own tree but the only American subtree (as that’s basically what they are irl) and this wouldn’t ever have been an issue.

the mistake was made so at least give them a full tree. it wont ever be as C&P as the disaster that the Chinese tree is at least

yeah the uk didnt want to buy into the program since it was a US black project and didnt want the fallout of if it went public (this was in the 80s)

its really funny tho because the US really wanted us to join the project lol

but F-15SA is American fighter, with American avionics and flown by USAF for short time too. i dont really see where Israel comes into the mix.

it also wasn’t really a good use of our limited defense budget

Super Hornet FA.1 lol

Actually Nighthawk GR.1 sounds pretty cool tbh, but Eagle FG.1 and Tomcat F.1 sound pretty lame

Lockheed Martin*

They do seem to like working with the British

yeah its why it never happened since it would have had to been off of the books and with how unpopular margret thatcher already was she didnt want to rusk it going public

i have noticed lockheed and BAE work together a lot ever since Lockheed Martin Sanders was bought by BAE’s US company.

you say that but it was Ronald Reagan that really pushed for it
