As it stands, Germany, Italy, Britain, and France are in no NEED for a jet any time soon, because they currently hold the top spot. It’s not a matter of how many vehicles they get per update. It doesn’t matter if the big nations get more, they should by virtue of having more to add.
Now if there is non-meta changing additions to make to the minor nations? all for it, give britain an Su-30 or give Germany a Swiss Hornet, or something. But currently, until the ceiling needs to be raised again (which it doesnt since it was just raised this december), the AESA typhoon shouldn’t even cross anyones thoughts.
Not a russian just made an example of a top tier british addition that makes sense, that wouldnt change the meta state.

it’s gonna pay to have an advantage but if I’m gonna be completely honest with you, not a particularly meaningful or game changing one-
I think you have no clue how IOG and Datalink affect SARHs like the R-27R/ER to say something like that, or you will order the premium F-18 and you are biased.

I wouldnt be so sure, I think the R-24R and R-27ER have both proven just how good having IOG on a SARH missile can be. This definetly feels like a pay-to-win advantage

yeah exactly, my stance on it is, at ww2 tier they would be boring and pretty useless, while at cold war tiers with things like SLASM and and wire guided torps they would be very infuriating to play against

I know exactly how IOG and DL work on SARHs
I also will not be buying this thing because I have no need for it.
But as it stands with how strong the F-18s radar is at 12.7, plus the inexperienced players plaguing the BR. You’re really not gonna be breaking radar lock much at the ranges you’ll be using AIM-7s.
As for the R-27s, the main reason on the ER specifically you notice the effects of DL and IOG more compared to the 24R and 27R, is because the missiles goes so absurdly fast. IOG will only matter if the target continues on his course mostly unchanged within the few seconds after your radar loses lock, same for DL.
7Ps vs 7Ms really is not that big of an advantage-
Especially when both are leagues worse than the 27ER that already exists at that BR.
Ultimately while IOG/DL are improvements, the issue fundamentally lies in Sparrows themselves just being kinda… meh-
I am curious how gaijin would balance carriers, on one hand I could see them being very strong with it only taking a single 1000lb bomb to cripple a battleship, but at the same time due to AA being realistic airwings would be shredded by top tier BB with AA
being real, I’d give up any fantasy of naval balancing

game needs SPAA to counter KH38s. This is absolutely ridiculous. Absolutely no reason for these to be in the game. Absolutely no reason for the ONLY nation to counter them to ONLY have them. Absolutely no reason for the Flarakrad being the best SPAA for Germany. Fix these in the next update. God almighty its so fkn dumb.
Then make its BR lower at 13.7, why even add the initial Hornet for Finland when they have 2 MLU iterations, the first MLU and a second MLU upgrade later on, doesn’t sound to me like all 3 will be added, so it’s only fair that it goes down a step given it’ll be 1 of the only if not the only 13.7+ jet without a HMD
