Generally what you find in surching the AL31FP is they put out together in afterburner 25,000 kgf…basically the same as the 27SM ingame right now. Yes the 30SM is a bit heavier than the 27SM but not at all 33 or 34 heavy. It really is going to be an improvement in maneuvering over the 27SM.
People who aren’t slaves to the meta will play it because it’s a hyped airframe.

From what I remember the 18E engines have ~17% more thrust, but at the same time it got 23-26% heavier.
So yeah, unless my math is not mathing up, the 18E will have less performance in that regard.

I guess. If Japan wanted hornets they would probably have better luck with the Malaysian ones though

Well, the F/A-18E will have a better radar too, the F/A-18C should be mechanical still unless we get the USMC current one, which is unlikely

Indeed it is, It’s just that the latest leak shows this update will only bring the F/A-18A and the F/A-18C.
The later F/A-18C had an uprated F404 engine. The F/A-18E has the F414 engine.
