I guess how much better the 18E radar will be in game depends on how well Gaijin models it and how much of the aesa functionalities Gaijin model.
They could just make it a slightly faster scanning normal radar and call it a day.
Still weird that this leak showed F/A-18E for this update though.

Maybe, who knows. It just seems weird that one leak list lacks the F/A-18A, and the other one the F/A-18E, again we’ll see in the trailer which will probably drop in the coming hours.
To be fair the tieba/mike leak lacks F-2 as well

Reliable leakers said (after the June update I believe) that the Eurofighter had been delayed to 2025.
Then the Eurofighter came in 2024 anyway.
The leakers do have access to real information about Gaijin’s plans, but those plans can change. And clearly the leakers are not privy to everything either.

In addition to that, the Super Hornet should have a superior acceleration and climb rate at subsonic speeds compared to the Legacy Hornet. The Super Hornet only has a lowered top speed and has weaker supersonic acceleration than the Legacy Hornet. So, it means the F/A-18E would be better to play its strengths in the subsonic flight.
The day the F2 will be added is the day i’ll have hope in this game again
