Honestly i know it would suck to have happen considering how many times sweden air has already had to research the same vehicle for 400k rp with only one minor difference but gaijin could add the F-18C as the best version of an A2A C model sense it has a bit less weight from the ground avionics being ripped out. Not much of a difference like maybe 500kg, and then the F/A-18C as just a worse CAS model sense gaijin will likely only give it some of its CAS weapons. Would be a good chance to add more vehicles not that it would really do much.

I get that some people wanted F/A-18C because it’s iconic and all, but, honestly, I find it redundant at this point in time, so I would rather skip it and go straight to the better plane.
If there were heavy decompression and F/A-18C was further away from F/A-18E, maybe I would feel differently, though. But being practically at the same BR when it’s just worse… I find it kinda pointless.

If we had much bigger maps that could accommodate the F-14 and its Phoenix, then I think the vote would go the other way. Hard for an F-18 to counter a Mach 2 Tomcat launching a Phoenix from 80km+ away.

I mean I would rather personally skip it, not have the game skip it, hahah.
I know some people are happy playing vehicles that may not be the best or the most meta, so I want it to come to the game for them.

If, for example, Top BR was 15.0, F/A-18E was 14.7 and F/A-18C was 14.0, then even I would look forward to it, hahah.

I think I’m personally going to skip all Hornets for a long time.
I already have the F-16C, F-15C and F-15E in the US tree. Feels like a waste of my time unlocking, spading and playing the (worse) hornets when I can grind for/play actually interesting aircraft that I don’t already have like the EFT, Su-30SM and J-11B

That’s how I felt, having the Eurofighter, indeed.
That’s why I’m 100% skipping F/A-18C unless it’s a way lower BR or something;
However, I am interested in F/A-18E; 12x120s, AESA radar… that seems quite interesting!
