thats a dying breed, F-35 already shown to have quite good EW capabilities, only a matter of time until SEAD is carried out by drones or further upgraded F-35
Im aware. Im just pointing out in WT if we reach that point of progression these downsides will hinder them a little bit in terms of gameplay.

i think you are severely underestimating the stealth capability and EW of a Growler. it has dedicated high power jamming pods with next gen ones on the way

you can still do SEAD with an F-35 or even NGAD
It’s the F-16 high speed 1st turn capability allowing it to more efficiency dodge some SAMs. Watch the video and you’ll see it in action.
You can do sead with an rc car with a hand grenade taped to the roof
In recent test in India, Rafale spectra ew suit fried an Su-30 radar.
I think we both underestimate the other stuff then (but i never talked about the capability of the Growler)

Wild Weasel is already a dying practice, ARMs now can guide themselves to where the radar target was last detected, which means you don’t really need a bait pilot anymore, at least not to the same extent
Maybe. I don’t think i’m qualified enough for the stealth fighters though. My vision is corrected meaning I can’t fly stealth at the moment.
does it being stealth even matter? everything ive heard about US stealth fighter jets is that they are actually easier to fly then 4th gen
They land themselves, so I’d assume they’re pretty easy to fly

But i think the spectra on the rafale remove the need to do high speed 1st turn.
F-35 are not a billion dollar jet, only B-2 has exceeded that price tag.

The F-16Cs and Vs ECM and EW are just as effective.
Yes however it’s more of the program price. It is way more than a F15 but like the F15 once it gets a little older they’ll let anyone fly it. (I’m guessing a year or two perfect for me)
id say even the ALR-94 EW system beats spectra for 2 reasons. let alone ASQ-239 on an F-35, or any of the ones strapped onto upgraded 4th gen fighters
