Let me set the picture. My life I grew up around a town with many Navy and Marine Families, went and saw the Blue Angels my Grandfather on my Father side worked for the Army and Navy, my Grandfather on my mother side Served in the Army Air Corp later Air Force, and all the friends I met who serve all of them dealing with Aircraft. I’m a huge aircraft nerd however, I’m not gonna spend 4k on DCS modules on stuff I can get in war thunder for free, but also I wish to show my support by buying stuff so my money can help evolve the game

it depends cause unlike tanks ships get smaller and weaker in the later post war years battleships are gone I want to say by the 60s minus the Iowa’s then by 1990s after DS, Naval doctrine changed for what we have now but a lot of ships can take hits from enemy ships so I say it’s a wait and see

IRL? IIRC That’s where the slip ring that transfers power and data to and from the turret and the hull, it’s the one part of the turret basket that would effect the function of the turret
