smin can you reply to my previous message we were having a nice conversation for once instead of me annoying you about the challenger and typhoon and stuff
What are the stanag levels for ajax? Iirc the ascod 2 claimed level 4 on the frontal arc and 3 on the sides without the apliqqué, 6 on the frontal and 5 on the sides with the large apliqque
yes and there’s also bustle auto loader designed for Chally 2 (posted several of these parts concepts in the wishlist topic, those who follow that topic will know)
but the thing is, these were never integrated
There is no need to tag me with the same 5 Challenger reports about 10 times within 24 hours. The reports are very much known. Spam tagging me over and over sadly does not mean I can do anything differently with them.
I appreciate you want to raise them, but please do not keep spamming them.
that almost felt like a compliment thank you smin.
although i did really want to bring this to your attention as it is quite a serious and quite annoying issue and i cant remember if i have asked about it
I don’t understand because you guys obviously guessed the armor for the turret on Sepv3. The turret and hull use the same armor package lol (NGAP). So why can’t you make the same guess on the hull? Legit, it makes no sense. It really feels like selective bias here ngl.
As we saw with Igla and Stinger, the devs are the foremost expert on everything military related, so if they say something is one way and not another, then its clearly true. There is absolutely no chance that the devs can possibly be wrong. So clearly when they say that a NATO tank is made out of wet paper Mache and soviet tanks are unkillable because there is no possible way that anyone could build something better than the soviets, it must be true
like how spalling doesnt exist when passing through the ammorack on any T series autoloading tank
and when hitting a Nato tank it just nukes the whole thing in a single shot
For many vehicles there are ingame armour components that are obviously modelled incorrectly, however, providing direct sources for these is impossible as they are so new.
In the case of that report, there are clearly two armour plates rather than one, with it being modelled as one ingame. This is simply an error made by gaijin, real life images prove this to an undeniable degree. The Ajax is so new that it very much falls into the category of modern vehicles referred to in the article below, which specifically states that images are acceptable as a source.
Yet it was rejected, based of “estimations” which I clearly stated were not final, with the main issue being something that is visually evident and cannot reasonably be argued against, which fits gaijins criteria outlined in the above post. If real life images cannot be used for this kind of report, then gaijin needs to update that post.
