It “could” be damaged in a way that physically obstructs the operation of the traverse system. It’s just some steel floor panels, there’s no electrical or hydraulic connection.
The RJB or slip ring is in the centre of the floor though, that’s the most important element down there.

Though I still disagree with its overall introduction, the damage model should only consider mechanical parts that genuinely makes turret rotation itself unavailable.
There’s a reason the game usually is balanced around ‘game conventions’, which I don’t like, but a metal floor rotating alongside the turret is not a basket.
