Major Update "Heavy Cavalry" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

@Smin1080p_WT Are the Leopard 2A7A1 and 2A8 in the works and can we expect them in the next updates???

detailed internal model but i’d be surprised if they add the trunion thing or the missing spall liners as well

fair enough

so they shouldnt ingame be connected and made as 1 module correct?

If the weight is low (below 9.3), the probability of K8 is higher; if the weight is high (above 10.0), the probability of L15 is higher

Of course not, why would they do something silly like that! :P

no F-101B absolutely breaks my heart man

I mean, under a exceedingly thin case? It does have a basket.

Though I still disagree with its overall introduction, the damage model should only consider mechanical parts that genuinely makes turret rotation itself unavailable.

There’s a reason the game usually is balanced around ‘game conventions’, which I don’t like, but a metal floor rotating alongside the turret is not a basket.

could be, i know this 2 vehicles decently enough, sadly they aren’t coming any soon

Yep. I wonder if they would even accept a report for it.

But if they keep nerfing the CR2, maybe we can get it down to 11.3 and then by avoiding 12.7 it might be quite strong

There are physical elements in the Abrams and Leopard 2 that are also modelled as part of the traverse system. In theory, damage to these elements could obstruct the traverse and I assume for that reason Gaijin have included them as part of the turret basket. Same rule being applied to CR2.

This in part realistic modelling, and in part game balance.

but nothing like that for russia yet

now its open?

They have it pretty bad down there as it is, but go ahead and use the CBR if you think their traverse damage module should be bigger.
