I mean honestly not really, a lot of the differences between the two in real life were things that would be irrelevant in-game. Other than the sensors the only thing I can think of is the fact that the F-14D can technically utilise the datalink of the AIM-7P when the F-14B couldn’t.
the F14D couldve been THE 37DI 2.0 move, the best too. But we get disappointed
A lot of people are expecting AIM-120’s from the F-14D and that’s just not something it ever carried in any way, shape or form period.

Already answered, please read my reply above. Reskins are the last resort when the premium can’t be at least somewhat different model, but with some nations they’re unavoidable.
They probably wont answer that because its gonna be USSR for J22 most likely
And yeah do not give us the “muh grind barrier you guys said you hate grind barriers” argument, the same suggestion threads you ignored also offered to move the F/A-18 s to the fourth line.

AIM-9M, AIM-7P and the upgraded AIM-54C that has no need for cooling would be very welcome
It’s an awful desicion that its Solely a premium
I’d prefer the Premium be a squadron specific (E.G VF-31 Tomcatters), and the F-14D tech tree be a generic F-14D

@gromvoiny are there any chances of triple racks for AMRAAMs on the F-16C PoBIT and/or future F-16Vs? they’re kind of needed

The third line in the US air tree is a naval one, so all Hornets go there.
Why should they be the last resort? Especially in situations like this where there’s a very clear want by the community and even space for it in the TT.
Also “won’t do any good in a folder because players will skip it”, isn’t that the literal point of folders to begin with?
There simply isn’t a good argument for keeping the F-14D not only as a premium but also as literally the F-14B but with a new radar.
If you want an F-14D as a premium then why not rename this as the F-14D(R) and then give us an actual F-14D in the TT?
There is no way you can feel that this is acceptable.
