I hope you guys reconsider, a premium shouldn’t be the best of a plane, the value should come from premium bonuses and cosmetics, maybe a sidegrade but never a direct upgrade.
The Tomcat will sell well either way, so this should ideally become another JA37DI F21 situation at least.

If the goal is to get a premium F-14 into the game why not go for an F-14A Late or even the F-14B(U)?
Why is it necessary to make one of the most requested additions not only a premium but also to give it almost none of it’s actual upgrades?

Even then they could have literally just done that, the F-14B ingame already has the U upgrades all apart from the HUD change. They could have done that instead of this.

I haven’t seen anyone happy about it only being premium. Some might just not care, but nobody was against a techtree version.

It would be a pointless addition to the tree sitting in the same folder with other Tomcats where most players would skip it and go directly for F-18 anyway. As a premium it makes much more sense, a sidegrade to existing tech-tree version.
