Hey Smin. Sorry for the random question, but do you happen to have more information (possibly from the devs) on the new armor plates on the SEPv3 turret cheeks?
They are listed as RHA at the moment, which has a 1.00x armor modifier in game, and the thickness is listed as 150mm. However they only offer about 90mm of protection, which is inconsistent with what they should offer if they were 150mm RHA plates. I assume it’s still WiP, but I was just curious.

This isn’t the type of mechanism coming to the game this major. Its Anti-Radiation Missiles themselves.
Mine would be the Nimrod, but then again im biased for airliner conversions ))
Currently we dont have anything spesific to announce on them. They are naturally much more niche than standard bombers and most outside of the BR ranges that naval currently allows for.
Hey. As far as im aware those plates are still WIP. But its best to report any discrepancy anyway to ensure its properly logged.
At the moment its just the interface we currently have, but that could always change in the future.
@Smin1080p_WT Are there any plans for the F-14B to keep the Aim-9L as a secondary weapons option? I’ve been told it’s been completely and entirely removed from its secondary weapons options.
I’m apart of a small community that makes events in War Thunder CDK based off real life combat operations, and having the F-14B only have access to the Aim-9M makes running Desert Storm in a balanced way a whole hell of a lot harder. The aircraft used the missile, can’t it just be added there as a default option for those with the sidewinder modification, like what was done with the Aim-120B for Aim-120C/D carriers? Would I need to write a report for this aircraft to keep the option present? I appreciate your time, thank you!

hey smin, i’m curious to know if the french & american H-34s will ever receive the ability to create custom loadouts? they’ve been around for quite a while now and are the only helos that don’t have that ability if i’m not mistaken

I acknowledge that this mechanism isn’t coming to the game this major and I also acknowledge that anti-radiation missiles are one of the focus of this major, just was asking if this other mechanism could or would be added anytime this year.
Yeah, guess would be a better decision to add it in parallel with this new patch cuz it now has sense due to presence of FAU aircraft. However… es la vida, gaijin likes to mix relatively (sometimes geographically) close countries in that regard.
