A bug appeared on the dev server where the Challenger 2 had 2 trunnions modelled in its DM at the same time, providing a overestimated level of protection
This has since been corrected.

Absolutey worthless way to do it when the NOMADS is trash, seriously it’s worse than the Elde and now you’re forced to play the NOMADS.
seeing it makes it even worse jeez
And yet now you’re forced to play a vehicle that needs you to aim the hull to shoot yet has no neutral steering and can’t be used on city maps because the launcher is aimed at the walls rather than straight up
welp thats depressing guess its a net negative for the challenger this update

already hated it enough with BUK-M3 that mid thing, don’t even wanna know how bad it is with NOMADS
It’s fine nobody plays Sweden anyways they have 3 leopards, that excuses them from being the worst at everything else

Well the protection was not overestimated, it was closer to the accurate values which gaijin had been provided for 2 years now.

I also do not believe the two trunnion explanation, the protection is currently still exactly the same in the areas which have not been made hollow when the trunnion pins were removed.
If two trunnions had been modelled, this would not still be the case, the only areas that are now weaker directly match where the trunnion pins have been removed again.
If the devs want mantlets to be an intentional weak spot they can just say, they don’t need to dance around the point.

That’s me when I need to actually play the Elde part 2.
There has one been a few vehicles I truly despise. The Type 87 RCV (both vehicles stock grind was hell).
T95 (bomb magnet)
CA Lorraine (post mobility nerf)
M48 (US and German stock grind is just annoying as hell, just APCR past that I actually like the vehicle)
But of all those vehicles the Elde has been the most aggravating grind and now I’ve gotta do another one that’s even worse with MITL and FnF helicopters…
