that is just how FnF weapons are in game, its the same for PGMs and Mavs, they don’t start tracking until 12kms and even then the KH38MTs view range is insane so if the target is anywhere near where the IOG is heading it will reacquire them

my eyeball MK1 struggles to track ground vehicles beyond 10km
then im sure you wont complain about US CAS as it has the same issue (their AGMs are far slower and thus the target is more likely to have moved)

the distance equation that results in worse radar returns also applies for IR seekers
